Brussels sprouts give the highest yield in cold and wet climate. The best temperature for sowing it is 15 to 25 degree Celsius. It requires a long time to ripen. For a better crop, its temperature needs to be kept between 1 to 20 degree Celsius. This crop does not give good yield in high temperature. Brussels sprouts can be grown on different types of soil. But sandy loam soil is considered best for it. Brussels sprouts should be sown at the rate of 500 grams. Sowing its seeds at a distance of 2 cm is expected to give good results. It is mainly sown in February and March, its crop starts coming in April, May, June. It can be harvested from August to March and then sown again.
